Included with every roof cleaning
Roof Cleaning for Your Insurance Renewal
Insurance companies are sending Santa Barbara homeowners letters about moss, lichen and debris on their roofs. Every roof cleaning we do comes with a Roof Condition Report: drone photos before and after, plus a one page certificate you can send straight to your insurer. It is included in the price.

What's in the report
- Drone photos of the whole roof, before and after the cleaning
- A one page certificate with the date, the address, the roof type and the approximate square footage
- The method used: low pressure soft washing, the cleaning method roofing manufacturers recommend
- Notes on anything we see along the way, like cracked, slipped or missing tiles
- My contractor license number (#1105057) and insurance, so your insurer knows who did the work
- Emailed to you as a PDF, ready to forward
A clean roof only helps if your insurer can see it. Photos from the ground rarely show the whole roof. The drone shows every slope, before and after.

How it works
1
Send a few photos
Text me a few photos of your roof, or request a quote below. If your insurance company asks for anything specific, tell me what it is and I make sure the report covers it.
2
We clean the roof
Low pressure soft washing removes the moss, lichen and black streaks without cracking tiles or stripping shingle granules.
3
Drone photos, before and after
Every slope of the roof, from above, so there is no question about what was cleaned.
4
Your report arrives
You get the photos and the certificate as one PDF by email. Forward it to your insurance company.
What the report is, and what it isn't
It is a record of the cleaning and the condition we saw on the roof that day. It isn't a roofer's inspection. If we see something that needs a repair, we note it and tell you, so you can have a roofer take a look.
The Make It Right Promise
If you are not happy with any part of the work, we come back and make it right.
Homeowners who needed it for insurance
★★★★★
It was a 2 day job to clean the roof & gutters of our home and guest cottage, and Zac worked tirelessly in 100 degree heat to get it done. He even took photos with a drone and provided a certificate to present to our insurance company. He did a fantastic job at a fair price.
★★★★★
We were needing to get our roof power washed for an insurance renewal and shopped a few soft wash companies in Santa Barbara. Zac was the most professional, on-time, reliable, kind and had the best prices. Highly recommend.
★★★★★
Zach did a great job cleaning my dirty roof (for home insurance policy issues). It looks almost brand new and it is 19 years old. Gentle wash that doesn't lift or harm asphalt tiles.
Common Questions About the Roof Report
Does the Roof Condition Report cost extra?
No. It comes with every roof cleaning, at no extra charge.
Will my insurance company accept it?
The report shows your roof before and after, dated, with my license number on it. If your insurance company asks for something specific, tell me what it is before the job and I will make sure the report covers it.
What if you find damage on the roof?
We note it in the report and tell you what we saw, like cracked, slipped or missing tiles, so you can have a roofer take a look. The report is a record of the cleaning, not a roof inspection.
